Sheep at the Window

Knitting, doodling, raising baby

blog writer’s block

I can hardly believe it’s been a whole week since I wrote the last post. Now that the war is over, I’m flooded with work and ideas and I usualy feel quite torn between the designs that I have to do and the designs that I want to do.

Among other things, I wanted the next post to be written in a newly-designed blog, but my work on a re-design will have to be delayed a little. Maybe it’s for the best.

I also discovered, much to my horror, that I haven’t knit a thing in over a month (!). That is thankfully about to change, for 2 reasons –

1. I’m working on crocheting some finger puppets for little Hillel. I started out with the topic of "farm animals" but so far I have a rabbit, a chicken, a duck, a lion and a butterfly, so I guess it’s going to be "random animals".

2. this:

Dan came back from a business trip in Australia, and while Irit and baby Spud entertained themselves (and even came to visit us), Dan bought yarn. The colorful hand-dyed wool on the right is for him, and that bulky red wool blend on the left is mine! and when I get my hands on it, it will become this, probably.

Just let me get the 5 sites, 6 small flash animations, 2 character designs, 16 illustrations for Hotbar, 2 banners and a blog re-design out of the way first.

  • About the sheep

My name is Ayelet. I'm a designer, illustrator, mom to baby Toam (born in May 2008), knitter, somewhat-crafty, and mostly trying to figure out how everything fits together.

I try to live ecologically but sensibly. I'll recycle plastic for the rest of my life if you promise to never take away my clothes dryer.

This blog was given to me as a gift from my husband, Ez, on my 27th birthday and I've been using it since then as a sort of think tank/storage space for my thoughts, ideas, illustrations and crafty projects.
